The Gemini family, comprising Castor and Pollux, are celestial twins from Greek mythology. However, their equivalent in Hindu mythology and Tamil astrology are the twin gods, Murugan and Kartikeya, or the Nakshatra twins, Gemini being one of the 27 Nakshatras.
