FRP was introduced by Google in Android 5.0 (Lollipop) as a security feature to prevent unauthorized users from resetting and using a lost or stolen device. When FRP is enabled, it links the device to the Google account, requiring the account credentials to reset the device. While FRP provides an additional layer of security, it can cause significant problems for device owners who forget their Google account credentials or purchase second-hand devices with FRP enabled.
