Traditionally, Indian women were often seen as caregivers and homemakers, with their primary roles revolving around family and domestic duties. However, with the advent of globalization and modernization, the landscape of women's roles in India has dramatically changed. Today, women in India are pursuing careers in diverse fields such as science, technology, engineering, arts, and medicine (STEAM), sports, and politics, among others. The participation of women in the workforce has increased significantly, and with it, their independence and decision-making capabilities.
