At the center of the show is the complex relationship between Shagun (played by Drashti Dhami) and Angre (played by Arjun Bijlani). Shagun, a bright and bubbly young woman, is forced to marry Angre, a rugged and brooding individual, after her parents' death. As they navigate their new life together, they develop a deep bond, which eventually blossoms into romance. However, their relationship is put to the test when Angre's past comes back to haunt him, and Shagun's family members create obstacles in their path.
