"Mangal Pandey: The Rising" is a 2005 Indian historical drama film directed by Tapan Sinha and produced by A. Muthu. The film stars Aamir Khan in the lead role of Mangal Pandey, a sepoy in the British East India Company who is known for his role in the Indian Rebellion of 1857.
