Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition is an enhanced version of the original Resident Evil 5, which was released in 2009. The game follows Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar as they investigate a bioterrorism threat in Africa. The Gold Edition includes the original game, as well as the "Mercenaries" and "No Mercenaries" modes, and all the DLC released for the game.
