The movie tells the story of Sing (played by Stephen Chow), a former Shaolin monk who becomes the coach of a misfit soccer team, which includes a group of mischievous orphans. As Sing tries to whip the team into shape, he uses unorthodox methods, including Shaolin kung fu techniques, to help them become a top-notch soccer team.
