Tamil literature has a rich history dating back to the Sangam period (300 BCE - 300 CE). While the early Tamil literature focused on themes of love, war, and governance, the later periods saw the emergence of erotic literature. The most famous example of Tamil erotic literature is the "Kama Sutra" adaptation in Tamil, known as "Kameshwara Chedi" or "Kama Chedi".
